- Earlier in the year my HardDrive became completely corrupt and had to be
- replaced. Fortunately, I had backed up the system to some floppies. I
- can not seem to read these disks now -- When I double-click on the disk icon
- I get the message "The Icon(s) have no default tool" and I get the
- message "Not a DOS disk in Device DF0:" in a system requester when I try
- to get a dir of the disk. How do I get my system to recognize the disk
- so I can get my info back off of it?
-
- Any help would be appreciated (is the answer obvious and I just don't see
- it?) When I looked for help in the doc set it referred me to a book I do
- not have (I guess that it is assumed that most Amiga users do not have a
- hard drive) - See Amiga Harddrive User's Guide. It just occured to me to
- look for this in pub/aminet/disk/docs. I will try that while waiting for
- a response.
