  11. Earlier in the year my HardDrive became completely corrupt and had to be 
  12. replaced.  Fortunately, I had backed up the system to some floppies.  I 
  13. can not seem to read these disks now -- When I double-click on the disk icon
  14. I get the message "The Icon(s) have no default tool" and I get the 
  15. message "Not a DOS disk in Device DF0:" in a system requester when I try 
  16. to get a dir of the disk.  How do I get my system to recognize the disk 
  17. so I can get my info back off of it?

  19. Any help would be appreciated (is the answer obvious and I just don't see 
  20. it?)  When I looked for help in the doc set it referred me to a book I do 
  21. not have (I guess that it is assumed that most Amiga users do not have a 
  22. hard drive) - See Amiga Harddrive User's Guide.  It just occured to me to 
  23. look for this in pub/aminet/disk/docs. I will try that while waiting for 
  24. a response.
